This latest offering from the UK s premier party band was recorded live at Puddephat s, Nigel Tully s beautiful country residence in Hertfordshire. No gimmicks or clever recording tricks on this, their 7th album, just the band as they sound when they perform live. With over 2,000 songs in their repertoire this is a cross-section of the many musical genres they are capable of performing, from today s chart hits to pop classics of the last 50 years. Every band member sings, and most play several different instruments — Nick Newall actually uses six on this CD. As a bonus, the band has added 3 tracks as examples of the smooth jazz they enjoy playing during dinners or receptions. Each was recorded in one take, and is truly representative of another dimension of the most sophisticated all-round party and covers band in the UK.
