The Dark Blues are a unique combination of youth, experience, enthusiasm and professionalism. Long known as Britain's most popular
party musicians a title originally coined by Harpers & Queen - their career highlights include many of the Royal Family's private
parties at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. Farnham Castle Event Organiser, Teresa Clue, said they were the best live group
they have ever had and most live bands end up too loud and people evacuate the room!

Italian tours are becoming a speciality for The Dark Blues. Following successful concerts for the Festa del Vino in 2005 and 2006, the Mayor of Greve in Chianti invited the band back to play for an audience of thousands in the main Piazza, to mark the start of the grape harvest on Sunday 14 September 2008. After staying in Nigel's Tuscan home for a few days, with two additional private concerts, the band moved to Rome for a gig in the rooftop ballroom of the Exedra Hotel on September 20, followed by a fundraising Ball in Florence on September 26 for the Duke of Edinburgh's Awards.
And to cap all that, The Dark Blues flew to Muscat, Oman to play for the country's premier Charity Ball on December 4... and returned for the annual Mistletoe Ball at The Dorchester the following night!
