About a third of the events for which we organise the entertainment have some level of charitable
fund-raising among their objectives, and often that is the main point of the party.
In this situation, we are very conscious of two things:
Whatever entertainment we provide must understand the importance of fund-raising, and must tune their act or show to support the various activities which the organisers have arranged to raise money.
People are more generous when they are having fun, and are more likely to return to next year’s event if they have had a great time this year.
Musicians and cabaret acts can do a lot to enhance the atmosphere of generosity by the way they present themselves and what
they say about the good cause which is the event’s focus – and our artists are experienced in doing exactly that. And in our
opinion, there is no better way to ensure that guests have a great time while donating money than by giving them wonderful
music to dance to. Our bands and DJs know what to do to lift the party once the raffle/auction/silent auction/tombola is
over – and the fact that they are asked back year after year to play at school balls or medical charity functions proves
that they know how to help the organisers to raise even more money!
Tell us about your charity and how you plan to raise money for it. We have lots of ideas for entertaining your guests while
fund-raising, and years of experience which tells us what works and what doesn’t.
A huge thank you from all of us for such a great performance. We thoroughly enjoyed it and many of the guests who
stayed for the dancing thought you were fantastic.
